Stefan Engström

After having finished a Masters in Business Administration at the Stockholm School of Economics, Stefan Engström worked for two years with oil company Esso in logistics followed by 5 years as Marketing Manager at Sweden’s main shipping company Salén where he was managing Contracts for refrigerated shipping of citrus-, decidous- and tropical fruits.

In 1980 he also founded Språkreseförmedlarna, later renamed Avista, a language travel agency in Stockholm. In 1989 he was also involved in opening another language agency in Oslo, Norway called Språkreisebyrået where he since then has been the chairman.

In year 2000 he sold Avista and started 2 years of studies in Computer Science at the University of Stockholm. After completion he started a new language agency in 2002 called Blueberry where he is currently the Managing Director. He is also Director for Arigo Språkresor which is a holding company.
