Since the time we dedicate to our profession is such an important part of our lives, for me there is no alternative, then to enjoy what you do. There must be passion, to provide the energy that will help affront any possible problems as challenges.

From the age of 13 I had little jobs next to school, be it working as a bartender, as a help in snackbars, waiter in a highway restaurant, babysitting, washing cars or as barman in a hotel. One then learns that effort is always required and that any business depends in the first place on client satisfaction.

After I travelled around the world for a year on my own (I had saved up enough to finance the whole year without having to work during that year) I went on to university to study business.

At the age of 27 I started “don Quijote”, a language travel agency for Spanish language courses in Spain with 300€ from my apartment. When I sold the company in 2005, we had 13.000.000€ in annual revenues, 250 staff (24 of which where uniquely for Internet; a central activity to expand the success of the company, which we started in 1995 when there were only 10.000 webs in the whole world).

A year before selling don Quijote, I started Internet Advantage, to follow my passion for the Internet.

My wife, my two children and my friends make me feel fortunate in life.

Professionally, I have now also entered into the world of Angel Investments, which I enjoy. The energy of driven entrepreneurs stimulates me and I see it as a challenge, to help them concentrate on their goals, helping with ideas and contacts.

Internet Advantage allows me to meet interesting people (both staff as well as clients), to travel (which I find essential in my life), to work more then “40 hours” but with the liberty to choose WHEN to do so and to learn every day.
