Robert Padgett

I was born and raised in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. After graduating high school I left Honduras to attend Ave Maria College in Michigan, USA, where I obtained a bachelor’s degree with major in business administration.  After graduating college I worked in finance and other management areas. After these professional experiences I found out that my true passion lied on Internet, after building my first site using Geocities (RIP). In 2005 I moved to Salamanca, Spain in order to study a Masters degree in E-Commerce from the University of Salamanca and continued my studies until finishing the doctoral thesis in 2011. While studying in this wonderful city, I got the opportunity to work for Internet Advantage’s sister company The Language Business, managing a set of websites that promote language schools online. I learned a lot from this experience and finally had the opportunity to work as SEO consultant at Internet Advantage.

In 2011 I moved once again to Brazil with my wife and I’m currently living in Campo Grande – MS. Even though I am not at the main office, I am still part of the On-Page team as SEO consultant and help customers improve their rankings and website’s performance by providing recommendations and guidance, regarding SEO, usability, and conversion optimization.

I enjoy blogging about SEO in Portuguese,playing guitar, soccer and dancing salsa.
