René de Jong
Managing Director
René de Jong studied Business at the University of Nijenrode (Breukelen, Holland) and completed a Marketing postgraduate degree in NIMA - C.
René de Jong is well known in the language business as founder of don Quijote, S.L., where he managed to produce 6.500.000 € worth of sales over the internet (50% don Quijote's business), before selling the company in 2005.
In 2004, he founded Internet Advantage as an online marketing agency. The company focuses on "Pay per Click" advertising, Search Engine Optimization and Social Media Marketing, specialising in the Travel and Education sectors. Thanks to their "performance based contracts", the agency has grown to a 25 strong team of full time staff members.
René's professional career has also included working as:
- Board member of FIYTO (Federation of International Youth Travel Organisations) from 1997 to 2002.
- Organizer for dQ-LAWS (Learn About Web Sales), seminars designed to teach about Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
- Speaker in conferences about Spain as an economic and cultural location for the tourism industry.
- Attendee of principal conferences about Search Engine Optimisation at an international level.
